Emily is a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist with a strong commitment to improving quality life for everyone that she serves. As an occupational therapist, she can help you or your loved one become as independent as possible with both activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. Activities of daily living include dressing, walking, bathing, self-feeding, grooming, hygiene, and toileting-think “the basics.” Instrumental activities of daily living include medication management, meal preparation, grocery shopping, community mobility, financial management, household management-think “more complex tasks.”

In addition to problem solving ways to become more independent in daily activities, she can also recommend adaptive equipment or provide adaptive strategies to make the home environment accessible and safe. Emily is well versed in serving individuals with various conditions related to stroke, cardiac conditions, neurodegenerative, pulmonary and orthopedic conditions.

Emily is originally from Michigan and studied Occupational therapy at Washington University School of Medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, trying new restaurants, art, fashion and traveling.
