Roger received his Physical Therapy degree at California State Long Beach then accepted his first PT position at Torrance Memorial hospital treating a variety of inpatients, outpatients and burn patients. Three years later he moved to Orange County and worked at Hoag hospital for one year. He left Hoag to pursue his carrier goal in orthopedic private practice. He built, directed and was the managing general partner at The Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine Institute located in Huntington Beach. Ten years later he and his partners sold the practice to Health South. He stayed with Health South as the director and treating therapist for four years. Following the less than satisfying corporate world of outpatient Physical Therapy, he became the director, partner and treating therapist at California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy in Newport Beach for twenty years. He is now working as a part time concierge therapist.

Early in college Roger developed a passion for proper nutrition and fitness and has carried that passion into his treatments to this day. He participated competitively and recreationally in wrestling, tennis, gymnastics, skiing, snowboarding, cycling, golf, surfing and volleyball. He has undergone four shoulder surgeries and has a personal understanding and empathy for patients with shoulder pain and post-surgical pain and weakness. He has specialized in shoulder rehabilitation for the past twenty years. He is a certified Pilates instructor and a certified ASTYM practitioner.

His mission is to provide evidence-based knowledge and hands on treatment allowing patients to return to their pre-injury level and continue on their own to achieve their personal fitness goals.
